Bradford Frost was our dear friend & comrade in community development in Detroit. He was slated to give a parlor talk on January 17, 2017 at the Urban Consulate. When his health prevented him from attending, his friends Suneil Singh & Francis Grunow delivered his remarks. He passed five days later, at the age of 35. The community was devastated by his loss. We remember him as a passionate advocate for the city.

Study Abroad Scholarship Fund

The Bradford Frost Memorial SIT Study Abroad Scholarship Fund has been created by his friends Jake Byl & Jessica Santillo to honor Bradford’s lifelong commitment to connecting with people—whether in his Detroit neighborhood or on the other side of the world.

Bradford traveled to South Africa with SIT Study Abroad in 2004 studying reconciliation and development, and to Switzerland in 2003 on SIT Study Abroad’s International Studies and Multilateral Diplomacy program. These SIT experiences had a profound impact on his view of the world.

Keeping with that tradition, this scholarship will be used to provide need-based support to students from public universities, community colleges, or HBCUs too often underrepresented in college study abroad programs.

Help them reach their fundraising goal of $20,000 by the end of 2017.

OR MAIL A CHECK TO:
